Rebecca Nicole Heston and Nicholas Alexander Lapating

Richard and Halli Heston of Newport Beach are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Nicole Heston, to Nicholas Alexander Lapating, son of Larry and Susan Lapating of Lafayette, California.

Rebecca and Nick met as undergraduates at the University of California Santa Barbara, where Rebecca was awarded her bachelors degree in biopsychology and Nick was awarded bachelor degrees in sociology and geography. Rebecca subsequently earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Practice at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and is now practicing as a Physician Assistant at a local Urgent Care. Since graduation, Nick has been employed in hotel management.

Nick and Rebecca plan to continue residing in Newport Beach after their Memorial Day weekend wedding on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
