FRIDAY: Help end Hunger and Homelessness at the Hunger Bowl supper, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive. Includes a silent auction of artist-designed bowls and a variety of soup dishes from Laguna restaurants, plus live music. Tickets are $45.

SATURDAY: Visit 24 of Laguna’s artists from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Artist Open Studios, shown, and peer into the creative spaces of painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramicists, printmakers, glass, fiber and jewelry artists, and buy right from the source. SUNDAY: Join supporters of the Pacific Marine Mammal Center for their Marine Mammal Cabaret benefit from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Aliso Creek Inn, 31106 Coast Hwy. Saif Eddin will entertain at the grand piano and a raffle will be held for a 10-day cruise for two on Holland America Line. Tickets are $175 each. Chili, Cornbread Cookoff

The Episcopal Church Women of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church are holding a chili and cornbread cook off at 5 p.m. Admission to taste as much chili and cornbread as you like is $5. The entry fee for your chili and cornbread is $10 per item. The chili champion and maker of the best cornbread will receive a prize. Drinks will be available for purchase.
