Laguna Beach will host First Friday Flicks at 7 p.m. March 7.

An 82-minute documentary, “Cutie and the Boxer,” will be screened at the Forum Theatre on the Festival of Arts grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Road.

The film tells the story of immigrant Japanese artists, Ushio and Noriko Shinohara, who met in New York City decades ago and married.

Laguna Beach Live! will host a Gospel Brunch at 11 a.m. March 9 at Tivoli Too!, 777 Laguna Canyon Road.

The event will showcase Ava Dupree and her Voices in Praise, a five-piece band accompanied by three singers.

Tickets are $50 or $27.50 for children 12 and younger. Seating is limited and early reservations are suggested.

The Sawdust Art Festival hosts Art of Dining from 4 to 7 p.m. March 9 at 935 Laguna Canyon Road.

The second annual fundraising event features conversations with Sawdust artists and a meal, with beer and wine pairings, catered by chef Ryan Adams and 370 Common.

Admission is $175.
