Patriots Day Parade will be March 7

The 49th Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade will be held March 7.

It will begin at 11 a.m., making its way from Park Avenue and onto Glenneyre Street and Forest Avenue. The procession will end just past City Hall at Ocean Avenue.

This year’s theme is Home of the Free Because of the Brave. The grand marshal is Olympic gold medal swimmer and Laguna resident Janet Evans.

The parade will include music by the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band, which is based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. The band led the first parade in 1967.
