After School at ENC
The Environmental Nature Center, 1601 E. 16th St., Newport Beach, presents an after-school program with naturalist Alex Lane for children ages 7 to 12. Supermarket Easter Seals Campaign
Throughout April, the Vons and Pavilions markets in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach will give shoppers the check-out option of making a donation to the seventh annual April Charity Campaign for Easter Seals Disability Services. Vons stores in Costa Mesa are located at 185 E. 17th St., and 2701-B Harbor Blvd. There are four Pavilions stores in Newport Beach: at 2660 San Miguel Drive, 3433 Via Lido Drive, 1000 Bayside Drive and 21181 Newport Coast Drive.

Democratic Foundation of O.C. Luncheon
The April luncheon of the Democratic Foundation of Orange County will feature Jay Chen, a candidate in the 39th Congressional District race. O.C. philanthropist Julia Argyros and 3 Moms on a Mission will host a shopping party at the Bally store at South Coast Plaza to benefit Operation Smile. The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres service. Ten percent of proceeds from sales will during the event will go toward Operation Smile.
