Alternative Market
St. Mark’s 27th annual Alternative Christmas Market, featuring 26 nonprofit vendors, will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the church, 2200 San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Beach. A “peasant lunch” of lentil soup and cornbread will be sold for a suggested donation of $5 per person, in support of the Presbyterian Hunger Program, and a selection of desserts will be for sale, with proceeds benefiting the Costa Mesa Soup Kitchen. Van Morrison Day
Muldoon’s is hosting a free concert featuring Shana Morrison at Muldoon’s Irish Pub, 202 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach.
