Flamenco guitarist to play in summer festival

Flamenco guitarist Ottmar Liebert will perform Friday as part of the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach Summer Concert Series — and have some new material, to say the least.

The artist released two albums, “Three-oh-five” and “Bare Wood,” in April. At the Hyatt, he’ll join his band, Luna Negra, on the hotel stage at 1107 Jamboree Road, Newport Beach. The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are $55 to $70.
