Event to feature all things home and garden

The Orange County Home and Garden Show will present exhibits and seminars on drought-resistant gardening, edible landscaping, cooking and more on Saturday and Sunday at the OC Fair & Event Center.

The 38th annual event will also teach homeowners how to use less water, recycle gray water and do home improvement projects.

A two-hour Taste of Home Cooking School will start at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Local chefs will hold cooking demonstrations, tastings and recipe giveaways Sunday.

Event hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $4 to $6, and Saturday’s cooking school costs $25 to $30.

The OC Fair & Event Center is at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.
