Pet Of The Week
Tiny young Samantha gave birth to seven spotted Bengal-tabby kittens! The mom and kittens are ready for pre-adoption through our pet-match service, in which pre-qualified adopters can get first pick of the new arrivals before the public adoption events at Fashion Island.
We recommend adopting a momma cat with one of her kittens. Our volunteers are saddened to watch the public take the kittens and leave her all alone, sometimes waiting months to find a new home. Momma cats do grieve the loss of the babies, and many cry out loud for several days.
Rescue news: A local veterinarian hospital is boarding a rescued Siamese mom cat and her female kitten. The hospital staff has asked Community Animal Network to find a foster family and new homes for the pair.

We have received $125 to help Bambi. His bill has risen to nearly $500 for his weekly vet visits to re-splint his chest brace for flat-chested kitten syndrome. Thank you. Please consider mailing your check to Community Animal Network, P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA, 92658.
