‘Do the Right’

Vanguard University, 55 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, dedicates its Veterans Courtyard of Honor with special guest Ret. Adm. Vernon E. Clark at 4:30 p.m. A VIP reception is from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The courtyard is a symbol of gratitude to those who have served in the military.

District Dance Festival

Come see Orchesis, Intermediate Dance and a few special guest performers at this year’s District Dance Festival at 7 p.m. at Newport Harbor High School’s Loats Theater, 600 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach. Clambake Fundraiser

Children’s Bureau, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit, hosts a Clambake from 6 to 10 p.m. at Oak Creek Golf Club, 1 Golf Club Drive, Irvine. Lemondrop Dance Club
