Pet of the Week

Zoey and Gracie were bottle-fed and hand-raised.

The pair are always together, snuggling, playing or grooming. Not only are the they best of friends, but they like dogs too. Everything in life is a toy to them. They are happy-go-lucky kittens.

Cynthia Steyer, who happened to notice a house with lots of cats, rescued them. She spoke to the resident, helped the cats and worked with Community Animal Network to find homes for the kittens.

Meet Gracie and Zoey this Sunday, or other animals from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Fashion Island Pet Adoption Event sponsored by Russo’s Pets.

Mr. Peabody had his eye removed and we are still accepting donations to help cover the cost of his eyelid eversion, which exposes the mucous membrane, and the latest surgery.
