Pet of the Week
Although the story of this girl’s eventful life might be Oscar-worthy, she is currently seeking less drama in a new home setting.
As her name suggests, Choco is a chocolate-brown Chihuahua mix who landed in the shelter when her family lost their house to a fire last October. Both of her hind legs needed patellar surgery, and a veterinarian generously donated these operations, from which Choco has recovered successfully. Now, she delights in her walks again.
After gaining weight from being sedentary for so long, Choco should reduce from her current 10 pounds to protect those newly repaired legs. She is otherwise healthy, spayed and house-trained. Mild-tempered and quiet, this 7-year-old chocolate chunk is good with children and loves being a lap dog.
Come meet Choco, whose adoption fees are discounted 25% all week when this announcement is mentioned. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com.
