Pet of The Week

Anton — an adorable poodle mix who is barely a year old — charms everyone he meets.

His tail is in constant motion, encouraging adults, children and other dogs to share his happiness. Anton was reluctantly surrendered to the shelter this month; his owner had moved from a house to an apartment, where it wouldn’t be fair to leave a dog cooped up alone for 10 hours a day.

Anton is healthy, neutered and recently groomed. He is very smart, knows some commands and, while exuberant, walks well on leash. As with any young dog, he will require some additional training. Most of all, this affectionate guy needs a new and loving home environment.
