Mia Victori Blaya

Mia Victori Blaya, age 44, passed away on Monday, Nov 29, after suffering a brain aneurysm three weeks earlier. Mrs. Blaya, a Bilingual Education Professor at University Autonoma of Barcelona, in Bellaterra, Spain, and her family were living in the Eastbluff area of Newport Beach while she was working as a Research Scholar at CSU Long Beach.

Mrs. Blaya is survived by her husband, Jordi Carrascosa, their three children Gerard (age 13), David (age 9), and Pol (age 4), her sisters Montse Victori and Sandra Victori, her brothers, Xevi Victori and David Victori, and her parents, Salvador Victori and Rosa Maria Blaya.

She will be transported back to Spain and funeral services will be conducted there.
