Role: In Sept. 20’s “Booster club leader guilty of embezzlement,” Jennifer Borders-Piatti was incorrectly identified as the Costa Mesa High School band booster club president. In fact, she was the treasurer.

UCI: Sept. 13’s “UCI to open first academic eye institute” incorrectly quoted Tom Vasich, associate director of communications. The last quote of the story reads, “Our mission is to train the next generation of optometrists.” In fact, Vasich said, “Our mission is to train the next generation of ophthalmologists.”

Segerstrom Center for the Arts: Sept. 20’s “Anything goes ... when the kid goes to bed” incorrectly stated that the show’s tour began in Toronto in October. In fact, it launched in Cleveland that month and played Toronto this past August.
