Pet Of The Week
The 5-month-old black-and-white kitten that we call Aston is named after James Bond’s favorite car — Aston Martin. He and his siblings, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, and Beamer were all rescued from an auto repair business.
All the kittens are active, but Aston is more gentle and calm than the others. However, when he gets serious about play he chooses his sister Mercedes (black and white). They would make a nice pair.
Unlike many others animals, the “car” kittens are command trained to come when they are called and have been fed a superior high protein “no-grain” diet.
Our Fashion Island pet adoption event sponsored by Russo’s Pet Experience will be closed on both holiday weekends. If you are interested in meeting our rescue dog Melody, or any of the cats and kittens you are welcomed to the caregiver’s home, please call (949) 759-3646.

FYI: Nutmeg and Itzy (the tiny buff orange kittens) are still available.
Sadly, we are not doing so well with fundraising. We do thank you for the $150 that we received last week, but we are far from reaching our financial goal of $10,000.
Your creativity is needed to encourage others to contribute. Please mention Community Animal Network in your last minute holiday notes and cards. Tell friends to keep their donations local.
Please help! Mail your checks to Community Animal Network, P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA, 92658 and memo them “Help Local Animals” nonprofit tax ID 33-0971560.
