Latest vote totals show standings unchanged in 4 local races in primary election
Here are the latest vote totals and percentages for the top three vote-getters in four local races for state and federal offices in Tuesday’s California primary election.
The top two in each race advance to the general election Nov. 3.
The standings didn’t change with the numbers posted at 5 p.m. Friday by the Orange County registrar of voters office, which plans its next update at 5 p.m. Saturday.
The registrar’s website said 127,867 votes countywide remained left to count. The number of votes uncounted in individual races was unclear.

John Moorlach (R-Costa Mesa) (incumbent): 96,786, 49.1%
Dave Min (D-Irvine): 52,055, 26.4%
Katrina Foley (D-Costa Mesa): 48,251, 24.5%
48th Congressional District
Harley Rouda (D-Laguna Beach) (incumbent): 70,972, 45%
Michelle Steel (R-Seal Beach): 56,738, 36%
Brian Burley (R-Huntington Beach): 19,685, 12.5%
72nd Assembly District
Janet Nguyen (R-Fountain Valley): 30,753, 34.7%
Tyler Diep (R-Westminster) (incumbent): 22,869, 25.8%
Diedre Nguyen (D-Garden Grove): 21,819, 24.6%
74th Assembly District
Cottie Petrie-Norris (D-Laguna Beach) (incumbent): 52,770, 50.3%
Diane Dixon (R-Newport Beach): 27,653, 26.4%
Kelly Ernby (R-Huntington Beach): 24,467, 23.3%
