Craving a pre-prepped Easter meal at home? Here are some local restaurants offering take-out this weekend

Though the stay-at-home orders and dine-in restaurant shutdowns continue, many local restaurants are offering Easter specials in the form of family-sized platters for brunch, lunch or dinner.

Here’s a selection of businesses available for take-out, delivery or curbside pickup. Many can be found on delivery apps such as UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub and Postmates.

Costa Mesa


Several South Coast Plaza (3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa) restaurants will be offering curbside pickup for their Easter family meals including the Capital Grille, which is offering three-course meals for two to six people. This includes bone-in-rack of fillets with sauteed mushrooms, salad, French rolls, sides and dessert. Call (714) 432-1140 to order. Curbside pickup begins Friday and goes through Sunday 8 p.m.

Seasons 52 at South Coast Plaza has a three-course dinner for two to six with choices of a spiral sliced ham or wood-grilled beef tenderloin. Dinner will be chilled and ready to warm at home. Call (714) 437-5252 for curbside pickup, which starts Friday. Pickup hours on Sunday are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

South Coast Plaza’s Maggiano’s Little Italy’s family meal feeds four to six. It includes mini meatballs in marinara, Caesar salad, Mom’s lasagna, four-cheese ravioli, chicken piccata, spaghetti aglio olio, garlic broccoli, ciabatta rolls and tiramisu for dessert. VACA, at the Park Tower by Segerstrom for the Arts, is offering family-style three-course dinners for two to six with a choice of prime rib, Mediterranean branzino or paella de vegetales. It includes tapas, sides and dessert, and bottles wine are also available. Pre-order online at online.vacarestaurant.com through Friday at 5 p.m. or by phone (714) 463-6060 from noon to 5 p.m. Pickup will be at 695 Town Center Drive, Suite 170, Costa Mesa on Easter from noon to 6 p.m.

Water Grill, across from South Coast Plaza, offers family-style dinners that feed four to six. Menu includes ham and prime rib, and it comes with salad, sourdough bread, two sides and dessert. Easy-to-follow instructions will be included for items that need to be reheated or cooked. Order at watergrill.com/easter for pickup Saturday at 3300 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Old Vine Kitchen + Bar is offering a heat-and-serve Easter brunch that serves six, complete with chili verde quiche, buttermilk biscuits with strawberry marmalade, breakfast potatoes, cinnamon rolls, and a couple of bottles of wine. Call (714) 545-1411. Orders must be placed by Thursday for curbside pickup at 2937 Bristol St. Suite A-103, Costa Mesa on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Newport Beach

The Winery Newport Beach is offering two family-style Easter dinners that serve four to six guests: a 5-pound whole roasted prime rib with au jus and horseradish cream or a whole roasted turkey breast with gravy. The meals include an organic mixed greens salad, a seasonal vegetable medley and roasted garlic mashed potatoes, as well as an apple-berry cobbler and vanilla bean Chantilly. Arc Butcher & Baker will provide home-style Easter brunches that includes cinnamon rolls, quiche, a fruit platter, parfait platter and take-and-bake enchiladas. You can also add a mimosa kit or any of the beverages from Arc Food and Libations that can be picked at 417 30th St., Newport Beach. Order online at arcbutcherbaker.com. Local delivery is available, depending on distance.

Chef Cathy Pavlos has taken her Provenance garden-to-table Sunday brunch special and adapted it for her Easter Sunday To Go! Her Easter Dinner Special. It includes a market salad, lamb chops, polenta or mashed potatoes, a seasonal veggie sauté and chocolate cherry walnut bread pudding. Minimum order is for two people. For brunch, Provenance is also offering a take-and-bake morning strata, a ham and egg casserole, which serves up to four. Sushi Roku Newport Beach is offering a Sushi Family Pack for Easter which includes four types of sushi, four rolls, premium black edamame and miso soup. Bottles of wine and sake are 50% off and the beer is buy five, get one free. The fusion and lychee martini signature cocktails can be packaged to go. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar at Fashion Island is offering a three-course Easter family menu for four to six. Entrée choices include filet mignon, ribeye steaks, lobster tails, Chilean sea bass or chicken and come with choice of salad, two sides and dessert. OLEA is offering a three-course Easter family-style meal that serves four to six people. It includes salad, Faroe Island salmon, bone-in ribeye steaks, two sides and homemade cookies. Laguna Beach


Las Brisas is offering an Easter meal for four which includes a whole roasted chicken marinated in chile and garlic, along with sauteéd asparagus, roasted potatoes, a spring salad and mini strawberry shortcakes. ⁣Add a mimosa kit or margaritas, and all wine bottles are 50% off.⁣ To order, call (949) 497 5434 for pickup at 361 Cliff Drive, Laguna Beach on Sunday.

Nirvana Grille is offering a full rack of organic, grass-fed Australian lamb for your Easter eve dinner. They are closed on Easter. Order by calling (949) 497-0027 or emailing nirvanagrilleorders@gmail.com for pick-up at 303 Broadway St. Suite 101, Laguna Beach from 5 to 8 p.m. Place orders by around noon on Friday to allow for preparation time. Pickup will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Fountain Valley

Cambalache Grill offers family trays of Argentinian and Italian food that feeds four to five. This includes pasta, chicken paella and parrillada dinner options. Call (714) 375-3305 for pickup or delivery.

Stonefire Grill is offering an “Easter Bag(sket)” that feeds four or more. It includes a whole chicken (mesquite barbecue or lemon garlic), a large pesto pasta, large salad, breadsticks and carrot cake. Huntington Beach


Pho 10 is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 5 to 8 p.m for dinner. Get everything from their signature pho noodle soup to their crispy seared salmon and special garlic noodles, and their bun thit nuong chay gio (vermicelli noodles with grilled pork, egg rolls, veggies and fish sauce). Eureka!
