A three-alarm structure fire broke out in an industrial strip center in Irvine early Wednesday morning.

The call came in at around 1:32 a.m. on a fire in the 17000 block of Sky Park in Irvine, according to Orange County Fire Authority officials.

Spokesman Capt. Greg Barta said in a video issued by the agency that officials designated the fire as a three-alarm fire in order to access additional resources to put it out.

“This fire could’ve ran the entire length of the building, and our firefighters did excellent work holding it to the few units it originally was in,” said Barta.

About 75 firefighters responded, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze remained under investigation as of late Wednesday afternoon.
