Lang Park will close at times for renovations

For the next month, portions of Lang Park in South Laguna will be closed intermittently for renovations, according to a news release.

The work will include resurfacing rubberized tot lot areas, making drainage and walkway repairs and improvements, rejuvenating the turf and planting areas, sealing the parking lot and asphalt paths, and widening an access trail.

The City Council approved a $1.5-million construction contract last May for the work at Lang and Moulton Meadows Park. Renovation at Moulton included replacing turf and an irrigation system, as well as installing new fitness equipment.
