Marriage and family therapist Laura Rivas will lead the classes, which are designed to help parents of adolescents learn effective strategies for dealing with common problems like poor school attendance and performance and alcohol and drug use.

Classes will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 28 through April 15, with the exception of Feb. 18 and April 8, at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St.
