Learn pruning tips in free demonstration

Gilbert Briseño, a master tree artist and landscape contractor, will give a free demonstration this month on pruning that keeps in mind the health and beauty of trees and shrubs, while considering each plant’s role in the total landscape.

Briseño, trained by famed landscape architect Fred Lang, has been performing his tree artistry in Laguna Beach for more than 40 years. Each participant will have the opportunity for hands-on experience.

The class begins at 9 a.m. Jan. 31 at the South Laguna Community Garden Park, at Eagle Rock Way and Coast Highway. Reservations can be made at gardenpark@southlaguna.org.
