Kindness is message at Top of the World

Top of the World Elementary School students were reminded of the importance of kindness during an assembly Friday.

Kelly Nickel, regional director for Bucketfillers for Life Inc., taught students to think of filling up a bucket with encouraging words. Nickel presents character-building classes for the company at schools in the West.

School counselor Jami Parsons and Principal Mike Conlon said they thought the assembly would complement Top of the World’s involvement with Rachel’s Challenge, a nonprofit that honors people who are kind and compassionate.
