Two cited after swimsuit theft

Two women admitted stealing swimwear from a South Coast Highway store Friday, Laguna Beach police said.

Laura Taylor Dorman, a 19-year-old Calabasas resident, and Madison Taylor Krieger, 18, of Agoura Hills confessed to taking $500 worth of swimwear from Dressfierce at 360 S. Coast Hwy. without paying at 2:30 p.m., Sgt. Louise Callus wrote in an email.

She said Dorman and Krieger fled in a sky-blue Volkswagen Jetta, heading north on Laguna Canyon Road. An officer stationed along the road stopped the Jetta, and a Dressfierce employee later identified the women, Callus added.

Dorman and Krieger were cited and were released, Callus said.
