Tomatoes 101: Advice on growing more, better at workshop Saturday

A tomato expert will offer tips on growing the fruit during one of the South Laguna Community Garden Park’s most popular workshops Saturday.

Nurseryman Dylan Bamberger will advise people on how to select and grow different varieties and how to maximize tomato harvest during the free Tomatoes 101 workshop, which begins at 10 a.m.

The garden park is at Eagle Rock Way and Coast Highway.

The public can RSVP for the workshop by emailing GardenPark@SouthLaguna.org. Contributions are welcome.
