Laguna Beach city staff will hold a public meeting June 10 to gain input on ways to improve transportation throughout the community.

Staff is working on making the city bike- and pedestrian-friendly while reducing traffic congestion and providing frequent and reliable public transit service, according to a news release.

Laguna’s transit services include daily buses, summer trolleys, free rides for seniors to the Susi Q Senior Center and other locations year round, and a taxi voucher program.

Under the voucher program, residents pay $5 for a taxi ride for up to four passengers into downtown after 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and all day Sunday.

The results of a recent survey mailed to residents will be revealed during the meeting, which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the center, 380 Third St.
