Meeting focuses on labor law

A Laguna Beach attorney will discuss labor law specifics at a Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce breakfast workshop Thursday.

Dawn Knepper will talk about ways that managers and supervisors can address wage, discrimination, harassment and retaliation issues. The workshop will run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Laguna Beach Boys & Girls Club’s main branch at 1085 Laguna Canyon Road.

Knepper will also discuss best practices in employee discipline and management.

She advises and defends clients in federal and state employment related lawsuits and agency claims. Her experience includes successfully defending employers in trials and arbitration proceedings.
