Police Files for Sept. 4

Arroyo Drive: Petty theft was reported in the 1600 block at 1:15 p.m. Monday. A woman said she left a refrigerator in her frontyard for a friend to pick up and someone took it.

Pacific Avenue: Three men reportedly smoked on the beach in the 1200 block at 7:02 p.m. Monday.

South Coast Highway: Petty theft was reported in the 1400 block at 8:16 a.m. Sunday. A hotel guest reported items were stolen from a patio.

Alta Vista Way and Bonita Way: Seven skateboarders were reportedly doing tricks at 2:55 p.m. Sunday.

Ocean Avenue: A man reported a gun was stolen from his Porsche in the 300 block at 4:13 p.m. Sunday.

West Street Beach: A woman reported money and credit cards were stolen at 4:24 p.m. Sunday.

Broadway Street and North Coast Highway: A man reportedly tore down lost-dog posters at 6:43 p.m. Sunday.

Gaviota Drive: A caller reported paddleboards and tools were stolen in the 1000 block at 10:50 a.m. Friday.
