Vincent J. Savelli

Born to Italian and Austrian immigrants in Schenectady, New York, Vincent J. “Vinney” Savelli lived every moment of his 90 years without hesitation and, as many can witness, completely unfiltered. His metaphorical romance with Laguna Beach began in 1971 working at and eventually co-owning Main Street Bar (now Club Bounce) on South Coast Hwy, one of several establishments serving the Gay Community at the time. Preceded in death by his beloved sister, Vinney had no life partner or close living relatives at the end of his life. This was irrelevant, however, because the heartfelt affection and love he attracted so effortlessly paid it forward to an extensive and loving support system of his real family of many devoted friends.
