Brunello Cucinelli comes to South Coast Plaza
Upscale Italian clothing retailer Brunello Cucinelli will open its first Orange County store at South Coast Plaza in April, according to a company news release.
“We are very excited about the idea of opening our second California boutique in this prestigious international shopping destination,” according to a prepared statement from Massimo Caronna, president of Brunello Cucinelli USA.
“The Southern California market will be a new target for us and we are confident that the understated sensibility of our product will be well received by this new clientele,” the statement continued.
The South Coast Plaza boutique will be about 1,700 square feet and will premiere the spring/summer 2011 collection, the release said.
Brunello Cucinelli opened its first store in Beverly Hills in 2008. Last year, the retailer opened three other locations in New York, Nevada and Florida.
