Lululemon opening at South Coast Plaza

Yoga-inspired apparel brand Lululemon Athletica will open a retail store with a kickoff party Thursday night at South Coast Plaza, according to a store announcement.

The store, which sells high-quality athletic apparel for men and women, officially opens for business on Friday.

The opening night event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and features musical group the Common Kings. The public is welcome to attend.

In addition, a free yoga class hosted by CorePower Yoga at the store, Level One in the Crate & Barrel Wing, will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
