Eight new tenants coming to Spectrum
Irvine Spectrum Center shoppers will have eight new shopping and dining options by the end of the year, according to a news release this week.
The Irvine Co.-owned shopping center recently opened women’s apparel and accessories retailers Francesca’s Collections and Charlotte Russe. The Spectrum location is the first one in Orange County for Francesca’s, according to the release.
Six other tenants, including retailers and restaurants, will begin opening as early as next week though the end of the year.
“Irvine Spectrum Center offers something for everyone,” said Irvine Co. spokeswoman Erin Freeman via e-mail. “The unique mix of stores range from Nordstrom and Target, to popular names like Anthropologie, Loft, Urban Outfitters and many others. We will continue to provide stores as well as restaurants that resonate with our savvy customers and draw visitors from throughout Orange County and beyond.”
The first store to open will be SkinFood, which is scheduled to open next week near Dave & Buster’s. An internationally known cosmetic company, SkinFood specializes in natural and healthy products for the body.
Opening in summer with be DownEast Basics, a women’s apparel, swimwear and accessories retailer. Following in the fall: Oro Gold Cosmetics, a cosmetics line that incorporates 24-karat gold into its formula, natural apothecary manufacturer J.R. Watkins Naturals, The Yankee Candle Co. and greeting cards and gift wrap retailer Artbox.
“We have seen an increase in sales at all three of our regional centers — Fashion Island, Irvine Spectrum Center and The Market Place — and leasing has been brisk throughout our portfolio,” Freeman said.
“We have opened a number of new and exclusive stores at each of these centers and will announce more new leases soon. With additional new stores and restaurants opening later this year, we are optimistic about sales through this year.”
Restaurants Paul Martin’s American Bistro, CUCINA Enoteca, Capital Seafood and Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill are also scheduled to open at the Spectrum in the fall or by the end of the year.
