Shakespeare workshop open to teens

COSTA MESA — Teens with much ado about nothing this summer can take part in a five-week acting workshop focused on the works of the Bard.

Orange Coast College is offering a Shakespeare Summer Intensive for Teens. The course is designed for aspiring thespians looking to stay sharp over the summer.

The workshop is open to students ages 14 to 19 who are interested in putting on “Much Ado About Nothing” under the direction of theater arts instructor Peter Uribe.

Students will meet from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 27 through July 29 in OCC’s Drama Studio, 2701Fairview Road.

The workshop is $399 plus a $75 material and costumes fee.
