ECCO store coming to Fashion Island

ECCO Shoes will open its first retail store in Orange County next month at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.

The store is scheduled to open there on Nov. 5, Fashion Island officials said in a news release issued Monday.

ECCO, a Danish shoemaker, was founded in 1963, and offers footwear ranging from men’s and women’s dress and casual styles to children shoes and shoes for golf and other sports.

“We are excited to announce the opening of our new retail location at Newport Fashion Island, bringing the ECCO brand to consumers in Orange County,” Linda Clohosey, vice president of ECCO’s Americas retail division said in a prepared statement. “Our new Unity store concept is designed to make it easy for consumers to navigate the store, experience the brand and our new fall collection.”
