The staff of Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill is doing its part to help others in need during the holiday season.

The South Coast Plaza restaurant is organizing a breakfast at 10 a.m. on Dec. 21 that will help homeless youth from Costa Mesa-based Orange Coast Interfaith Shelter.

Z’Tejas organizers are also asking for donated age-appropriate gifts that Santa will give to children. The unwrapped presents must be dropped of at the Z’Tejas lobby, 3333 Bristol St., by Dec. 20.

“We are proud to host this event again this year but wanted to make it even bigger by getting the public involved,” Z’Tejas server Noel Brooks said in a prepared statement. “We hope to help families in need enjoy the holiday.”
