Kenneth Gerald Carr

Kenneth Gerald Carr (Kenny), 73, died unexpectedly April 6, 2011. Kenny was born in 1937 and was raised in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1956 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Oceanside, Ca. He retired in 1994 from Ford Aerospace; Aeronutronic Division in Newport Beach, Ca. after 32 years. During his tenure at Ford, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. His passion during retirement was restoring classic automobiles. While residing in Corona Del Mar, Ca. for the past 33 years, he was a active golfing member of the Newport Beach Country Club, Newport Beach Elks, Speak Up Newport, Hoag Hospital’s 552 Club and several automotive clubs. He also loved traveling – Hawaii was his favorite destination. Ken is survived by his loving family: wife; Joan, mother; Deloris Siedsma, brothers; David, Jay, and Douglas Siedsma, his children; Kurt Carr (Rebecca), Canda Carr, Kevin Carr, and Christa Drexler (Michael), grandchildren; Andrew, Angela, Aubrey, Megan, Cory, Zachary, and Tanner. There will be a viewing at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, Ca. on Wednesday April 13 from 6-8pm. Services will be at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.600 St. Andrews Newport Beach at 10:00am on Thursday April 14. A reception will be held immediately following at The Newport Beach Country Club.
