Ann Louise (Permuka) Clawson of Corona Del Mar, CA went to be with the Lord on March 22nd, 2012.
Ann was born on March 1st, 1928 in Central, Pennsylvania. Her parents were Mary and John Permuka. She attended Ramsay High School in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and after graduation went to work for the Bell Telephone Company.
On a vacation trip to California, she met Richard Thomas Clawson and they were married on December 28, 1958. They resided in southern California, starting their family in San Diego, but spending most of their lives in the Costa Mesa/Newport Beach area.
Ann had three children, Timothy, Kathleen and Maureen.
After her children were grown, she worked for Bank of America in the probate department and after her retirement, Ann became an active volunteer at the OASIS Senior Center in Corona Del mar. She also served on the Alter Guild at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.
Ann is survived by her children, Timothy Clawson his wife Roseanna and their daughter Brenna of Los Angeles, CA, Kathleen Clawson of Garden Grove, CA, and Maureen (Clawson) McCormack and her husband John of Sherman Oaks, CA. Also her sisters Frances Kern, Alberta Mates, Rose Vrable and her husband John, and her brother John and his wife Joan Permuka.
Ann was predeceased by her husband Richard Thomas Clawson.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at St Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in the Memorial Garden on May 26th at noon, with a reception immediately following. The address is 3233 Pacific View Dr., Corona Del Mar, CA 92625
