Elizabeth “Liz” Ashley Eddleman
Elizabeth “Liz” Ashley Eddleman, age 22, of Irvine, California, passed away on July 26, 2011, as the result of injuries suffered from an automobile accident. Liz’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Liz was born August 23, 1988 in Orange, California. She attended Vista Verde elementary school and graduated in 2006 from University High School in Irvine, California. She had just graduated from Golden West College with a degree in Criminal Justice and was to attend Fresno State University in the fall of 2011 as a Criminology Major.
Liz is survived by her parents, James and Cynthia Eddleman; her brother, William Roberts; her grandmother, Lorraine Horton; and her aunts and uncles, Jim and Terry Antl of San Diego, Jill Horton Craig of Santa Rosa, Doug and Reiko Horton of Oceanside. In addition, Liz is survived by a great-great aunt, several cousins and many, many friends.
For all the people who wish to celebrate Liz’s life, a memorial service will be held on August 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mariners Church Chapel in Irvine, California.
The Elizabeth Eddleman Memorial Fund has been created at Schools First Federal Credit Union which will be used to establish a charitable foundation in her name that will directly support Liz’s greatest passions; assisting troubled and disadvantaged youth with educational opportunities in the southern California area.
