Eleanor (Elie) Whipple Miller

Eleanor (Elie) Whipple Miller passed away peacefully on April 19, 2012. Preceded in death by her devoted husband John Palmer Miller M.D., Elie was a woman of faith, a beloved mother and grandmother, a steadfast and adventurous friend and, for nearly six decades, a leader in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church community.
She is survived by her children Celia May Miller Mueller, William Whipple Miller, Bradley Sherborne Miller, Mary Meghan Miller and Carrie Louise Miller Saxifrage, her sons in law Barry Linnett Saxifrage and Eric Edgar Mueller, her daughter in law Ronda Lagerberg Miller, her grandchildren Asa Drew Mueller, Hannah Danielle Mueller Evergreen, Chase Palmer Miller, Evan Andrew Miller, Abby Harper Miller Rubin, Marith Brooke Miller Rubin and Robin Marble Saxifrage, and her great grandchildren Heron Brook Evergreen and Griffin Myles Mueller.
We will always remember and honor her faith, purpose, graciousness and joy.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 29 at 2 pm in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church sanctuary.
