Sheldon LeRoy Foreman
Sheldon LeRoy Foreman (Roy) of Franklin, Tennessee and Newport Beach, California. He passed away at home on May 3, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 8, 1929, in Los Angeles, California, reared in Pueblo, Colorado. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 ½ years, Ann Fant Foreman and daughters Stacey Ann Foreman, Stephanie Carol Foreman, Sydney Foreman Heard and Susanne Lucinda (Sancy) Foreman. Also survived by his grandchildren, David Carlton Stremic, Broderick Paul Stremic, Caroline Stephanie Stremic, Stratton Roy Stremic, Stacey Madison Stremic, Ann Fant Heard, Cecilia Sydney (Ceci) Heard and Sarah Tyson Heard as well as a greatly treasured son-in-law, William C. Heard.
Roy proudly served for three and ½ years in the U.S. Marine Corp. Roy graduated from the University of Southern California (B.S.). He graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School (L.L.B). He was a member of the California Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. His private practice in Southern California focused largely on corporate and oil and gas law.
He was married to Ann Fant Foreman on August 20, 1954, in Gulfport, Mississippi. For over thirty years he was actively involved at St. James Episcopal Church, Newport Beach, serving on the vestry and other positions
The memorial services were be held at the Church of the Redeemer (Anglican) at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012. Family prefers memorials to Graceworks Ministries, Inc., 104 Southeast Parkway, Suite 100, Franklin, TN, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place
