Jerome “Jerry” Guibord, 61, Newport Beach, died peacefully January 25, 2012 after a valiant and long fought battle with Alzheimers Disease. Originally from Dearborn, MI, Jerry relocated to California in 1983 to work with Ford Aerospace in both northern and southern California. A graduate of Michigan State University Jerry was an avid golfer, loved hockey and a monthly game of poker.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Debi, daughters Kim Healy, Grand Rapids, MI (Shawn), Chelsea, sons Steve (Dearborn MI), and David, 2 grand children, Allyson and Kevin as well as two brothers Ron (Pat) and Greg (Janet) of Michigan.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Newport Beach, Monday, January 30th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to: Alzheimers Association of Orange County alz.org/oc. Arrangements by Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary.
