Newport Beach to set 2014 goals
It’s never too late for New Year’s resolutions.
The Newport Beach City Council will set goals for the year with input from the community during a planning session at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the Civic Center Community Room.
The public will be invited to comment throughout the morning, as the council reviews and discusses initiatives, finances and projects for the coming year.
It will also review priorities from 2013, which included public works projects like the Big Canyon reservoir cover and fixing the Park Avenue bridge, community development initiatives like planning for Mariner’s Mile and finding a new use for the old City Hall site, and “rethinking government” issues like reviewing trash services.
Snacks will be provided.
