Police find body at Harbor and Baker

Police discovered a body outside a Wells Fargo bank near a busy Costa Mesa intersection Thursday.

Investigators believe the man died of natural causes.

A patrol officer found the body shortly before 9 a.m. near Harbor Boulevard and Baker Street, Costa Mesa police Lt. Greg Scott said.

There were no indications of suspicious circumstances, but an investigation is being conducted, Scott said.

Police did not release a name or any other identifying details but said the man was probably a transient.
