CdM 5K run attracts thousands

The 34th annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5K was held Saturday starting with the men’s 5k and ending with a post-event party.

The morning races included men’s and women’s 5Ks, a two mile fun walk and a 1K Kid’s Dolphin Dash. After the competition a small festival greeted guests with live entertainment, vendors and an awards ceremony.

The annual event is organized by the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by a variety of businesses.
