Jerry Dipoto may be packing up more than just his office at Angel Stadium.

The baseball executive, who stepped down from his position as general manager of the Angels Wednesday, has listed his home in Newport Beach for sale at $2.995 million.

The two-story home in a gated community was recently remodeled and has dark hardwood floors, coffered ceilings, a media room and a family room with three wine coolers. Some 4,300 square feet of open space also includes an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room and a master retreat with a sitting area and a fireplace for a total of four bedrooms and 5.25 bathrooms.

Outdoors amenities include a paver patio with a built-in barbecue area. At the front of the home, a terrace extends off of the second story.

The home, which has been on the market for about a month, previously sold for $1.875 million in 2012, records show.

Tim Smith of Coldwell Banker Previews International is the listing agent.

Dipoto joined the Angels organization in 2011 as the 11th general manager in franchise history but abruptly resigned his position after an apparent power struggle with manager Mike Scioscia. He confirmed his resignation to The Times today.

The 47-year-old has previously held front office positions with the Red Sox, the Diamondbacks and the Rockies.
