Project Hope gets $32,000 donation
Project Hope Alliance, a Costa Mesa-based organization that works with at-risk and homeless families in Orange County, received a $32,000 donation last week from Corinthian Colleges Inc. of Santa Ana.
The money was raised at a June 28 silent auction.
The donation will go toward Project Hope’s Family Stability Program, which helps working families get housing, even with damaged credit.
“The investment in our program is going to allow us to eliminate homelessness for 16 families,” said Project Hope’s executive director, Jennifer Friend.
Friend said a stable home offers children a chance to focus on their education, which can help end the cycle of homelessness.
