Fall’s in fashion for Style Week OC
A new season means a new wardrobe.
Before fall begins Sept. 23, select Orange County retailers will showcase seasonal clothing trends during the eighth Style Week OC, which runs Thursday through Sept. 19.
Fashion enthusiasts can hit the three-stop style circuit to see ready-to-wear looks, couture designs and pre-fall runway shows at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, the Irvine Spectrum Center and The Market Place in Irvine and Tustin.
Here is the schedule of events. All are free to the public, unless otherwise noted, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Neiman Marcus Art of Fashion show: A sneak peek of fall collections featuring designer brands. 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard, Fashion Island, 401 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach.
Modern Luxury Orange County and Neiman Marcus Women of Style Show: 7 p.m. Thursday at Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard, Fashion Island
Fashion Island Contemporary Show: 7 p.m. Friday at Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard
Neiman Marcus Project Beauty: Cosmetic trend presentations. 9 a.m. Saturday at Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard, Fashion Island. Tickets are $25.
Neiman Marcus Children’s Runway Show: Noon Saturday at Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard, Fashion Island
Fashion Island Collection and Celebrity Cruises Design Competition: 7 p.m. Saturday at Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard. Clothing designer and former “Project Runway” contestant Nick Verreos will host a show featuring resort wear created by designers from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.
Surf and Action Sports Showcase: 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at Giant Wheel Court, Irvine Spectrum Center, 670 Spectrum Center Drive
Saturday Style: In-store parties at Charming Charlie, Loft, Off Broadway Shoes, Stein Mart and White House Black Market. 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 19 at The Market Place, off Jamboree Road between El Camino Real and Bryan Avenue in Tustin and Irvine.
Spectrum Collection Show and Celebrity Cruises Design Competition: 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at Giant Wheel Court, Irvine Spectrum Center. Verreos will host a show of resort wear by designers from FIDM.
