Jeep overturns on South Coast Drive; 3 hurt
A three-car crash at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and South Coast Drive in Costa Mesa left one car overturned and sent three people to the hospital shortly before noon Wednesday.
Firefighters responded to the collision and found a black Jeep SUV upside down with two people inside just west of Harbor Boulevard on South Coast Drive, Battalion Chief Tim Vasin said.
Both occupants were taken to a local hospital, as was one other driver involved, according to Vasin.
All three suffered minor injuries.
The third driver involved declined medical attention.
Police closed South Coast Drive in both directions while crews righted and then towed the Jeep.
