Bruxie coming to Costa Mesa
Costa Mesa will soon be home to the seventh location of Bruxie’s Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches, according to a release.
Diners can get their fix of buttermilk fried chicken, prosciutto and gruyere, and hot pastrami, all served on a waffle — hold the syrup, please, — at 279 E. 17th St.
The chain, which started in Old Towne Orange in 2010, will take over sometime this fall the space where Greek Town Grill was located.
Other locations are in Irvine, Huntington Beach, Brea, Rancho Santa Margarita and Chino Hills. Nothing on the menu, which includes old-fashioned cane sugar sodas, shakes, sundaes and floats, costs more than $10. Other sweet treats include nutella and banana, and s’mores served on waffles.
