Parade theme celebrates Balboa Island’s ‘100 Years of Sun & Fun’

Dancers, musicians, city officials, vintage cars, visitors and residents packed Balboa Island’s Marine Avenue on Sunday for the 23rd annual Balboa Island Parade in Newport Beach.

This year’s event was given the theme “100 Years of Sun & Fun” in honor of the centennial celebration of the island’s incorporation into the city.
